To select a qualified and committed Nurse Practitioner (NP) who will serve as the NP representative on the Joint Committee for Alabama. This individual will work collaboratively with medical counterparts and represent the interests and practice of all NPs across the state by reviewing and recommending protocols impacting NP practice in Alabama.

We are thrilled to announce the 19th Annual Conference on October 9-10, 2025, at the Renaissance Hotel in Montgomery. This year’s theme is "Technology and Practice: The New Frontier in Nurse Practitioner Practice." As healthcare continues to evolve, technology plays an increasingly vital role in transforming the way Nurse Practitioners (NPs) practice. Join us as we delve into the opportunities, challenges, and innovative solutions technology offers to enhance patient outcomes, improve care delivery, and empower NPs in their clinical decision-making. Together, we will examine how NPs can leverage technology to navigate this new frontier, enhance their role in patient care, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of healthcare.

We are also excited to introduce a new format for this year’s conference! The event will take place on Thursday and Friday, and we will offer hands-on workshops alongside the 2025 Opioid Guidelines Update.
