Save the Date for Nurses Day at the Capital

Nurses Day at the Capital is February 19th!   Our Nurse Practitioner's Alliance of Alabama (NPAA) Executive board is urging all NPs to come to meet our Alabama Legislature.   Most of the legislature does not know what an NP does or how we qualify to become a provider.   We have an opportunity to  discuss/educate about our role in health care and priorities that we have to ensure we can continue to provide quality care to our patients.    Also if they know us, we can follow up when there are confusing or conflicting bills on the table.  To ensure your ability to provide care to your patients and provide educational support to the legislature, I would urge you to go to Montgomery February 19th.    There will be more detailed information including talking points to follow.
